Summer Fun

So far Summer has been a lot of fun considering we haven't gone anywhere. The first week all the kids spent a lot time helping Mom clean the house from top to bottom and they made a lot of money doing it.

Last week, Clara and her Mom and Dad (Garrit & Tauni) came to visit. It was great fun! We went to the park, the Drive-In to see Wall-E and Prince Caspian, miniature golfing at Boomerz and of course we had to go to the beach. (Thanks to Aunt Tauni for the great pictures!)

We went out to eat a bunch as well - always good. We had a BBQ with some old friends, the Hughes family, who also happen to be in Garrit & Tauni's Ward in Utah. That was really fun.
We went to the Annual 4th of July breakfast and then to the Espinosa's house for a block party. We had a great time. Garrit & Tauni even brought their Wii Fit for us to try. We liked it so much we bought our own (and only had to go to 4 stores to find one).
This week Scott and Brennan are at Boy Scout Camp so we girls have been left to fend for ourselves. Today we went to $1 Day at the County Fair with a bunch of our friends. We rode a bunch of rides, ate some yummy cotton candy and pizza, and saw some cool animals. We saw almost everyone we know in this town there today too - including the Hughes family and the Brady family!! Tomorrow is Beach Day and we may hit the park before the end of the week! Of course we also got in some good shopping at the mall like good women should.
Like I said, Summer has been fun. We still have visits from Grandma D and some of our Utah cousins to look forward to. Plus Mormon Night at Dodger Stadium and a few other fun things. Who knew we could have this much fun and never leave home? There are still a few days left if anyone else wants to come and visit - just let us know!!!
