Where Oh Where Have You Been??

So as many of you know, I had foot surgery 3 weeks ago and have been down since then. I would have posted, but I have been under the influence of narcotics and could not be trusted to not say stupid or offensive things. I have also had numerous requests for pictures of said foot and the progress it has made-so without further ado and with this:

Tori's Birthday #10

Tori's birthday was this week. She asked for and received a "Ripstick" (dangerous toy with 2 wheels).

Includes the warning: "This product moves when used". That means no brakes. So far no trips to the emergency room. She can make it all the way around the block. We took 3 pictures (lame parents, I know.) Here's one:

Happy 10 year old.

Shelby's Birthday #6

OK - so it was like 3 weeks ago, but I know everyone is just dying to know the details. So here goes. Had a princess party:

Many presents:

Happy 6 year old.

Soccer is Awesome

We have to admit that we lost our love for the game last year during an extremely frustrating season. Even Tori dreaded Saturday mornings, going to a game, losing. Again. Shouldn't be losing, team is great and talented, but we were.

However, this year things have done a 180. We have half of the same team, but a new and fantastic, knowledgeable, coach (its not me) and guess what? So far 3-0. Its great!! We all are back in love with our favorite sport. Not that winning is everything, but having some serious skills as a team and being able to apply them in a game is something and if that results in a win - hurrah!

Tori came within inches of a goal yesterday, no thanks to a serious spin on the ball, but she was able to get there because her coach gets it and knows who should play where, when. Soccer is awesome!

In other news, Brennan is going to be in a commercial for our local news station and a group called Fight Back Santa Maria - its an anti-drug, gang thing they do every year where they have lots of fun stuff for the teenage-ish set. If I figure out how to link to it, I will.

Shelby is going to be in the AHC production of the Nutcracker in the party scene as a party girl. Mostly because she is little and easy to carry around and she's cute. They audition by height and she was #1.

Five weeks of pre-school for Kendall - no talking. The teachers have finally figured that they should just ignore it, hmmmm. Brilliant. Where did you come up with that? I never would have thought of it. I'm bribing her with chocolate this week, so we'll see.

Scott is FINALLY done with jury duty. He gets to go back to work tomorrow. Hopefully he remembers where it is and how to do it.

I am on the count-down to surgery. Big list of things to do before I'm off my feet for weeks. No pressure.

Hopefully, everyone enjoyed our look-a-like meters. And remember, COMMENTS ALWAYS WELCOME.

PS If anyone can tell me how to get this to separate my paragraphs, PLEASE HELP.
